Exercises to Strengthen Meditation


Step 1: Be Still Find a quiet place to sit without moving for 5 minutes.
Learning to control the body is the purpose of this exercise. 
Step 2: Be as still as possible, attempt to stop all thoughts.
(You may find it very difficult to stop all thoughts for more than a moment. 
Step 3: Pick a sound to focus on, such as air, breathing, ticking, and focus for 5 minutes. Learning to focus your thoughts is a powerful exercise.
Step 4: Embrace Positive Emotion. Increase the duration of time to 15 minutes a day.
